12/09/2009 -- This was te second time we stayed here. The first time was great. The only thing that was an issue was getting a luggage cart.On our second trip in 2008 it was terrible. When we checked in to our on bedroom condo it was not the one that i had booked online. They did decide to move us to another room which was a two bedroom but when we got there after moving all of our luggage and two small children,at 10 at night, the room was terrible! It smelled like smoke. There were no pictures on the wall, just terrible. The front desk said that was the only room that they had so we went back to te first room, with our luggage and kids. The next afternoon we got another room and that situation was taken care of.The first year they had Kids Krewe twice a week. This second year only once a week and it was not free anymore it cost like $20.00. It would have been nice when i booked my reservations they would have told me that they had done that. We were going to stay at the new Tidewater condo but I was told that they were not having the kids krewe at that location. Come to find out it was there three times a week!\The gulf has great beaches but in June 2008 the seaweed was terrible! For eight days if the seaweed cleared up you could not get in the water because of the jellyfish. morning of checkout it took an hour or more to find a luggage cart. The carts have always been an issue at this resort. Elevators are also slow at times. YOu may wait a while. So the time has come when i am looking forward to going back to PCB for the summer vacation with my family. I am in the process of looking for a place now. I am not sure if i will stay at Sunrise again. The good thing about this resrt is it is smaller than most of the others. Less people and good parking, which is the first three floors. Most other resorts have parking across the street from the condo. Besides that one room i will say the rooms are very nice.
